ST. MORITZ ON THE
MOVE |

St. Moritz moves office locations in California
St. Moritz is moving our Southern California Security Guard office location
from Glendora, CA to Downtown Los Angeles. The move was necessary due
to long drive time by applicants and the concentration of security
contracts in the Downtown Los Angeles area. Our new office location
is 3325 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 415, Los Angeles, CA 90010. "This
is a great move that will make our operations more efficient, and give
St. Moritz an operational office in the heart of Los Angeles" stated
Alex Bjork, the St. Moritz Regional Manager in Southern California.
St. Moritz will have completed the move and be up and operational by
November 16. This is another great example of the flexibility of St.
Moritz to best serve its employees and customers alike.
St. Moritz acquires security contracts in Cleveland
St. Moritz has agreed to purchase security contracts in Cleveland, Ohio
from an undisclosed security company. The locations of the contracts
are centered in the Downtown Cleveland area and conversion to St. Moritz
employees will begin November 19, 2004. Paul Harris Senior Vice President
and COO was excited to enter the Cleveland market. "Acquiring contracts
in the Cleveland area will place St. Moritz Security Services into a
market that was difficult to enter without established contacts." says
Harris after signing the acquisition agreement. At the outset, the Cleveland
office will be co-managed by St. Moritzs' Youngstown and Columbus offices.
St. Moritz looking to expand in Toledo
With the recent successes of our local management in Toledo, and support
from their operational office in Youngstown; St. Moritz has begun to
seek office space in the Toledo, Ohio area. Toledo has been a fast growing
area for St. Moritz and now manages a sizeable amount of guard hours.
The dramatic increased in sales of the Toledo operation has made office
space a necessity. An office in Toledo would serve Northwestern Ohio
and be a welcome addition to the established offices in Youngstown and
Columbus, Ohio.
St. Moritz moving into two new states
Due to the increased demand for requests for proprietary security operations,
St. Moritz is excited to announce it is beginning the process of expanding
into two more states. St. Moritz has officially submitted the paperwork
for security licensing in Georgia and Indiana. Georgia and Indiana would
give St. Moritz proprietary security licenses in 15 states. St. Moritz
is currently licensed in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland,
Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and California. St. Moritz operates
17 offices throughout the 15 states.

| FOLLOW THAT CAR! |

Turns out that the Cadillac Escalade EXT (the large luxury
pickup) and the Nissan Maxima are the nation's most stolen
passenger vehicles, with theft rates seven to eight times
as high as the average for all vehicles. According to the
Highway Loss Data Institute for both 2002 and 2003, the
Escalade EXT was the most frequently stolen car in America.
The popular EXT is both stylish and rugged. However, thieves
have found ways to disable the vehicle's anti-theft ignition-immobilizer
system. Authorities believe these vehicles are targeted
in part because of their pricy accessories and customized
wheels and tires. In some instances, the upgrades add tens
of thousands of dollars to the vehicle.
The most frequently stolen vehicles:
- Cadillac Escalade EXT, 2002-2003
- Nissan Maxima, 2002-2003
- Cadillac Escalade, 2002-2003
- Dodge Stratus/Chrysler Sebring, 2001-2003
- Dodge Intrepid, 2001-2003
Best defense: Purchase GM's OnStar security
and communication package. The on-board system allows owners
to remotely open vehicle doors, call for emergency assistance
and track stolen vehicles.

Travel Tip: In the event of an emergency, the
ability to exit an aircraft and move away from it can
make the difference between life and death. According
to aviation experts, wearing the proper clothing often
helps. For starters, travelers should not wear sandals
or loose fitting shoes. In the event an emergency requires
a speedy exit, the loss of a shoe can reduce one's ability
to move quickly and safely. Additionally, sharp or burning
debris on the ground can make moving barefoot all but
impossible. Safety experts also recommend passengers
wear long trousers and shirts. Even the lightest cotton
can provide some protection against the affects of flash
fire and explosive heat.

Whether it's that supportive spouse, parents, children,
friends or wok associates, this is a great time to reflect
what they bring into your life. At St. Moritz, we would
like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have
helped make our business grow so successfully this past
year.

| PERSONAL PREPARDEDNESS
PAYS OFF |
|
Last year's blackout that swept much of the U.S. and
parts of Canada unnecessarily inconvenienced millions.
Californians have long appreciated the importance of proper
preparedness. Frequently rattled by earthquakes, they also
know the value of personal emergency kits. Today, organizations
everywhere have begun to encourage their employees to prepare
emergency kits for home, car and office.
Although the contents of one's kit may vary, here's what our experts
suggest:
- Bottled water: four liters per person
- First aid kit: well stocked, medium size
- Utility knife, eating utensils, drinking cup and manual
can opener
- Latex gloves; several surgical masks, toilet paper,
bar soap, hand lotion, sun screen, dental floss, toothbrush
and paste; small towel
- Several large zip lock bags: excellent for food, water
or waste storage
- Duct tape, pliers, wire cutters and a small multipurpose
utility tool
- Two flashlights, extra batteries, half dozen emergency
candles, matches and butane gas cigarette lighter
- Food: your choice, but high carbohydrate, low salt
items are the best
- Cash: $100-300 in singles and at least five dollars
in change
The contents should fit into a small backpack or tote. Space
permitting-throw in a hat, leather gloves, a pair of old
athletic shoes and a nylon pullover. Pack one kit for your
home, vehicle and office. Replace the water every six months
and rotate any food items frequently.
Retraction
As previously reported in last month's newsletter, we regret that St. Moritz
Security Services was not selected to provide security for the Federated
Department Stores Bloomingdales location in Soho, NY for the Christmas
Season.
