St Moritz Security Services, Inc., Safety Meeting Minutes, Toledo Office
Tuesday,
February 20, 2007
Time: 2:30 pm
In attendance was Edna Myers, Kathy Joyce, Charlie Miller, Norman Hancock, Joe Gregorace, Ryan Bettura
Subject: Safety on Ice
We spoke on the safety guards should use when the weather is turning icy and conditions can change quickly, to be aware at all times; not only for your safety, but for those around you also.
Charlie suggested making a quick assessment of the site before the security guard begins their shift, and letting the client know of any possible hazards such as ice or snow and to possibly have a number from the client of a snow removal person to call.
Norman suggested advising the next shift know of any unusual spots or areas that are extremely icy or snowy so they can be cautious of them also.
Always wear a form of safety shoes or boots and have a bucket of salt available at all times.
When walking or doing rounds, carry a small container of salt.
If icy put on the studded traction rubbers provided by the company to go over your footwear to prevent any possible mishaps.
We are including a letter to ALL guards on this subject with their paychecks!
Presciption for Safety:…Precaution
Meeting adjourned at 4:15pm. |
